Professional Training in Hypnotherapy
The Professional Training in Hypnotherapy course has been assessed and Validated at Practitioner Level by The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (UK).
Anyone can train as a Hypnotherapist, from counsellors who want to enhance their skills, Nurses who feel that they want another way to help their patients to sales assistants and accountants who are looking for a career change or even as an outside interest.
Both our Intensive 16 week course and our 12 month course are carried out in small intimate groups and will provide you with all of the tools and the ongoing support you need to get your practice going.
Our modern and professional training centre in based in the Portsmouth Technopole, is easily accessible by road or rail. There is a Travel Lodge opposite for those wishing to attend the intensive course and stay overnight.

7th August 2013 Running 1 Saturday in 3 course full.
Intensive 16
Intensive 16 week course Starting Friday 26th July 2 places available.
Intensive 16 week course Starting September 2013 date TBC.
Course Coverage
Intensive 16 week course running weekly.
Total Cost £2,250
Both courses include 3 years unlimited support and one to one help for you after you have completed the course.
The Philosophy behind Hypnotherapy
Neurobiology
Fears, phobias and habits
Consultations
Inducing Hypnosis and working with a client under Hypnosis
Techniques such as Inner Child, Gestalt and NLP.
During the course you will learn a lot of techniques on how to help people with things such as stopping smoking, lose weight, deal with anxiety, headaches and IBS pain.
Completion of the course
Support after the course is guaranteed for three years after you have completed the course. We are here to teach you all the tools you need to get your own Hypnotherapy practice going and to support you once you have completed the course. We are always on the end of the phone or email for advice and support whenever you need it.
Successful graduates are eligible for professional registration with The General Hypnotherapy Register (the GHSC’s Registering Agency) as well being offered Licentiate membership of theHSH.
Once you have trained as a Hypnotherapist you can work as long as you like, regardless of age; one therapist I knew retired at age 89!

Our chief trainer Lorraine Gleeson is a published author of How To Be A Hypnotherapist to accompany the diploma course.
The HSH are continually updating training techniques and introducing continual professional development courses for fellow hypnotherapists to attend.
We are in the process of writing a short certification training course for people who would be interested in finding out how it would feel to be hypnotherapist, before committing to a full diploma course.

HSH CONTINUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Once trained as a hypnotherapist we all want to learn more we offer a series of courses for CPD. These include the popular Hypno Gastric Band Workshop, IMR & Regression workshops and how to facilitate NLP successfully in hypnosis.
The HSH is an on-going project and more courses will be available as hypnotherapy is proving to be a very popular and successfully helping people achieve their personal goals and aims in life.
