Reflexology and Bowen Therapy are fantastic therapies as they are both holistic and can be used to help treat the whole body from musculo-skeletal and neurological problems through to stress and hormonal issues.

In my 9 years as a practitioner, I have developed a particular interest in unresolved back & joint pain, whiplash injuries, long-term health issues such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue (ME), gynaecological problems including endometriosis and infertility, and migraines.

Both therapies really help to reduce stress and anxiety and so maybe very beneficial for conditions exacerbated by stress, such as high blood pressure, skin problems (eg eczema), colitis and IBS.

My training, work experience and any achievement

I trained as a Reflexology practitioner with the renowned International Institute of Reflexology (UK), qualifying in 2002. I subsequently trained with The Bowen Association UK and am now running a successful practice in central Bristol using both therapies.

In 2006, I was appointed Regional Director of the International Institute of Reflexology (UK) and lead tutor for the Scottish region and since then I have been organising and running Reflexology training courses in Scotland and South West England.

I attend ongoing CPD courses in both therapies. I have recently completed an in-depth Nerve Reflexology Diploma. Other CPD courses include Vertical Reflex Therapy (VRT), Sports & Bowen, Bowen for Mothers & Babies, Working with Back Pain.
