About Chryssa Chalkia
I am a Clinical Integrative Psychotherapist, CBT therapist & Counsellor, accredited and registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College (HIPC). I work for the NHS and privately and my office is based in Central and North West London. I offer face to face and online therapy to individuals, couples and groups offering short (6, 8, 12 and 24 sessions) and long-term therapy in both Greek and English.
In my practice I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental therapeutic setting in which we can talk about any difficulties that you might currently experience whilst looking at ways to overcome them. Together we can explore how your mind, brain, body, personal history and current life circumstances interact with each other and contributing to your current difficulties. I will support you increase your awareness, understand yourself better, relieve emotional difficulties or destructive behavioural patterns and make sense of such experiences.
I qualified in Counselling & Psychology in 2006. I hold an MA in Psychoanalysis, MA & Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling, BSc(Hons) & Diploma in Psychology & Counselling and a Certificate in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) & Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
