About Fiona Robertson

I am Fiona Robertson and I have been practising as a Registered Osteopath and Naturopath since 1993 during which time I have treated many thousands of patients in over twelve practices for a wide range of acute and chronic problems. Prior to this, I had twelve years nursing experience in the NHS and in Australia, where I developed an interest in natural medicine.

My training as a nurse has helped me enormously with my work as an Osteopath and a Naturopath and enables me to communicate with my patients in a caring and intuitive way. I am a good listener and my thorough approach allows me to consider each person as a unique individual.

My practice is family orientated and suitable for all ages.

I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the General Council for Registered Naturopaths and I am recognised by all the major insurance companies.

My training, work experience and any achievement

I trained as an Osteopath and Naturopath in 1989 a The British College of Osteopathy and Naturopathy BCNO (this is now known as The British College of Osteopathic Medicine BCOM. This was a four year full-time training at the college where we had the opportunity of working in the College Clinic for two years seeing patients.

I qualified in 1993 and I received the Prize for final year student. I worked as an Associate for three years while setting up my own Practices.

Prior to this I was a nurse and I trained at the Royal Free Hospital and worked here once I qualified for a further two years. I then went to work in Australia for two years, working at The Royal Melbourne. I nursed for a total of thirteen years.
