David Drysdale has worked as an Osteopath in the West End of Glasgow since 1996.
David combines a wide range of techniques when treating a patient, ranging from Osteopathic Manipulation, Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Nutrition and Exercise.
Treatments are tailored for the Patient. It is understood that some people simply do not like osteopathic manipulation, while others like Deep Tissue Massage, or benefit from Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
My training, work experience and any achievement
David Drysdale qualified from the British College of Osteopathy in 1992.
Since Qualifying as an Osteopath, David has studied Acupuncture & Trigger Point Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy, Neural Manipulation & Visceral Osteopathy, Bio-Mechanics & Ergonomics, Nutrition & Naturopathy, Yoga, Meditation & Relaxation Techniques.
I use a number of therapies in my practise, as people visit an Osteopath with many types of complaint.
To treat each person to the best of my ability I use a variety of therapies.
Some people do not like Osteopathic Manipulation, and like a much gentler approach. While other people find Manipulation very therapeutic, and request it as part of the treatment.
Where a chronic, muscular condition needs treatment, Deep Massage or Acupuncture will often be a more appropriate approach to treatment.
When a person has suffered a trauma such as Whiplash, Cranio-Sacral Therapy is the most effective approach. A person in severe pain will usually respond well to gentle treatment, and is less likely to find treatment an ordeal.
Elderly and convalescing people also benefit from gentle Osteopathic Treatment, as do Children.
Treatments are tailored for the patient. I like to discuss the the variuos approaches and likely outcomes of treatment with a new patient.

Customer Reviews
I have attended Davids clinic for treatment since 1998. On the first occasion i could barely move my neck, one treatment and i was working again. My elderly father had a very painful back after a golfing twist, two treatments and he was back to pain free. I have refered many friends and family over the years and every time there is success. Davids treatments are simple and effective. He used a range of skills and i am very glad he has continued to work so near to where i live. I would have no hesitation to recommend David.
