About Christian Bell

I’m Christian Bell, and I’ve been helping people just like you resolve issues and take control of their lives for the past ten years. As a Psychotherapist I use many techniques to help you achieve the goals, which at the moment seem impossible. All of the techniques are "Evidence Based". That is to say as a member of the IAEBP, we only practise therapies or training that are based on factual respected evidence. For too long some therapies have been seen as "magical" and with little basis on fact.

I strongly believe that by bringing the highest standards of therapy and training to my clients, I am assisting them to achieve the best that they can be, in the shortest time possible.

My training, work experience and any achievement

Christian Bell, is a full time and fully qualified Analytical & Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, specialising in the use of Psychotherapeutic techniques to bring relief, peace and freedom to his clients.
Christian trained with the International Association of Hypnoanalysts (www.successfulhypnotherapy.com) and passed their rigorous exams in 2003. However, Christian had been studying Hypnotherapy since 1977 following a severe motorcycle accident where he consulted a hypnotherapist regarding psychological issues following the crash. The results for him were amazing, and fueled his enthusiasm for the profession.

Whilst starting a family he moved into the Computer Industry becoming a Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing engineer, and finally started his own Computer Consultancy in 1992, dealing with small businesses. Here he discovered that whist solving the Computer related problems he had a gift for listening and understanding. This he decided to put to good use and started studying full time to become a hypnotherapist. The only question was what type?

After a long search through the myriad of Hypnotherapy schools purporting to provide excellent training and qualifications, he chose the I.A.P.H. and their training school the HCB (Hypnotherapy Control Board). The I.A.P.H. provides excellent training and support and is unique in the world in that they specialise in "Pure Hypnoanalysis" rather than putting many techniques together, hoping for a good result.

In 2010 Christian cross trained in the "Changing Limiting Beliefs" technique which has now flourised into "The Thrive Programme". This draws on his life skills and his skills as a Psychotherapist. As a result, in 2011, Christian renamed the Rugby Hypnotherapy Centre to the Rugby Psychotherapy Centre as this was a more fitting description of The Centre. The effect of using two excellent methods which work wonderfully together has been astounding for his clients. Christian is positive this is the way forward for anyone that wants to progress in their lives.

In 2013 the IAPH changed its name to IAEBP (International Association of Evidence Base Psychotherapists) as the trend in now for evidence based therapies. The Association also upated the old method of HypnoAnalysis into a new evidence based practise of Cogntiive Processing and Integration (CPI). This process removes many if not all of the problems associated with trying to use a therapy has has to be followed precisely to gain the results the client is looking for. Effectively putting the client in control of the outcome. The results show a much greater efficiency in attaining the goals and aspirations sought. HypnoAnalysis is still used and very effective for certain issues, but CPI can be quicker, more gentle and effecitve for specific known issues. These would be discussed at an initial consultation.

Christian is committed to at least 30 hours of Continual Professional Development to hone his skills even further, and regularly attends training courses in the UK to keep upto date with everything Hypnosis related. Christian is also fully CRB Checked with Enhanced Disclosure, for your peace of mind.

Christian is also currently training as an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor). This will make his psychtherapy techniques available for those clients or students who have fears, phobias or worries about learning to drive, or driving itself.

A free initial consultation is provided for each prospective client and allows a safe place to discuss any issues that are being presented, and for Christian to offer a solution. There is never any obligation to engage in Therapy, and any information is treated in strict confidence.

Christian has also been recognised for his long term training and results with clients, and has been awarded the coveted IAPH "Advanced Hypnotherapy" status (19/10/09).
