About Change is Happening
I am a Registered General Nurse with many years’ experience of working with problematic and dependent drugs and alcohol clients.
I gained a BSc (Honours) in Substances Misuse in 2006 from the University of the West of England.
More recently I have been working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Clients are made aware that I am a Trainee Therapist and that I am under the supervision of a Senior Accredited Therapist with the BACP.
As a Member of BACP I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.
At this time I work with clients with non-complex depression and/or noncomplex anxiety, as well as with addictions.
However please feel free to contact me so that we can discuss whether I am able to support you. If not I will be able to point you towards another service or colleague who can help.
