About Diane Whitehead
I offer services as a counsellor and clinical hypnotherapist, Neuro Linguistic Practitioner (NLP). In all my disciplines I use modern and contemporary approaches that are evidence and researched based; which means you won’t find me swinging a watch chain or asking you to stare into my eyes, I don’t even use a couch! Instead what I do offer are techniques and methods which are tried and tested and safe.I love helping people reach their potential in life, and seeing them change and grow as individuals, it is what I do best. My background is in the NHS for over 30 years as a nurse, midwife, manager and commissioner; latterly as a Family Nurse working with teenage mothers in the community. I have also worked in the voluntary sector, Primary Care and GP practices
Personally I am a wife, mother and grandmother recognising the pleasures and pressures these wonderful roles in life bring. Clients are assured of complete confidentiality, and a high quality service which is delivered to meet their individual needs and requirements.

I do not use ’one size fits all’I assess your needs, according to what you tell me at the initial consultation, and from this I discuss with you options I have available to help you. This is why all my skills of counselling, hypnotherapy, NLP and relaxation can be combined in a professional, safe and effective way to get you to where you want to be as quickly as you can go.
