About Imelda Turnock Counselling
You don’t need to suffer in silence. I offer a calm environment for you to explore issues or problems which may be troubling you. I am passionate about the benefits of counselling having witnessed them on so many occasions.
Life can be very hard at times and taking time out to talk to someone who is respectful, non-judgemental and listens emphatically can help you to reflect upon and gain insight into your unique life experiences. An understanding of our dilemmas, emotions and experiences can help us to make sense of them and move forward.
I mainly work humanistically which means that the central aim of my counselling practice is not about telling you what to do but promoting empowerment through the development of a trusting relationship where you can feel safe to get in touch with emotions and inner feelings.
