For the past 15yrs I have worked with Harley Street’s plastic surgery consultants helping patients address surgery-related anxiety; assisted clients with drug and alcohol addiction at The Westminster Drug Project and provided REBT (form of CBT) therapy to NHS and private clients who have had trouble managing various addictions, anxiety, depression, psychosexual problems and chronic pain.
Have you been struggling with anxiety, reactive depression, grief, to break away from unhealthy habits, solve your emotional problems or achieve your goals? I would be delighted to assist you via REBT techniques or Clinical Hypnotherapy techniques depending on your specific goals.
Cognitive Behaviour techniques will help you to identify and challenge unhealthy beliefs about yourself or others. Hypnotherapy can be useful in establishing more conscious pathway to your self-talk and visualisation helpes to rehearse as well as emotionally connect with the new more healthy behaviours.
I am based in Reading, Berkshire and I see clients predominantly online and some face to face.
My training, work experience and any achievement
As a former accountant and a part time fitness instructor I learnt a few things about an inevitable connection between psychological and physiological responses to various stressors.
In 2006 I began to strategically follow my life-long interest by studying general psychology at Westminster Kingsway College, Clinical Hypnotherapy at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and MSc in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (RECBT) at the Goldsmiths University.
I am also a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist (CCBH) and a practitioner of The Fertile Body Method invented by Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer, which combines hypnosis& mind-body approaches to fertility.
I am an accredited member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) and a provisionally accredited member of both the Association of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT) and The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

When I visited Jana Stanton, I thought that I was a hopeless case. I had smoked for 30 years and despite numerous attempts to kick this awful habit I had never succeeded for more than a few days.
I was amazed by the outcome. Miss Stanton’s approach is marvellous- she is so understanding and full of encouragement. After a single session I found that I had the inner strength to overcome the craving for nicotine. The suggestions that Jana put into my unconscious mind were extremely motivating and very powerful. The result was an outstanding success and I have now been a non-smoker for over two years!!!
I cannot recommend Miss Stanton highly enough- she is an absolute gem.
