About Sandra Smeaton
I am a trained integrative counsellor, and work using various techniques. These include Psychodynamic Counselling which means that I can make meaningful connections between current difficulties and past experiences. I am also trained in Person Centred Counselling which enables clients to become empowered through the counselling experience. I also regularly make use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques, through my approach, helping clients to understand that how they think will affect how they behave and feel emotionally.
I offer clients time and space in what is often a very chaotic/hectic life, to get their head around problems that may be causing them difficulties. I work in a non-judgemental way and offer a safe environment for my clients counselling journey to begin.
