About MPSYM
ABOUT ALFREDO AND HIS APPROACH
Better answers and solutions to any problem can be achieved faster with a wholesome, multifaceted approach. Consequently I have collated an “umbrella” of techniques and qualifications, furnishing myself with a range of proficiencies in the field of psychology that can and will help individuals efficient solving of a number of conditions.
For this reason I will be pleased to see anyone for the purpose of a ‘positive outcome’. My approach to therapy is collaborative, caring and warm; I am deeply committed to my clients. After an assessment the client and I will consider and agree on the individual most efficient route to take in the pursuit of well-being.
I provide coaching on personal, family and work issues, to name but a few. These may involve overcoming poor academic or work performance, dealing with interpersonal difficulties, family stresses, marital issues, depression or poor self-esteem. We can work together to minimise anxiety and depression, to bolster self-confidence, address behavioural problems, manage stress and anger, improve communication and resolve conflicts.
Communication is both verbal and non-verbal. We depend upon our ability to distinguish the subtle qualities of effective communication, both verbally and non-verbally. This communication shapes our interactions with others in business and interpersonal relationships, as well as our physical and psychological well-being. Understanding the important roles they play in our interactions with others is the first step to enhancing positive communication and nurturing relationships. Since communication is also influenced by numerous cultural differences, I believe that we should not judge a book by its cover. Factors such as misjudgement or stereotyping can lead to miscommunication.
Because it is also important for you to find the right therapist I suggest that we meet for an initial 50 minutes, low rate (£18) consultation. This will give you the opportunity to feel comfortable with me and start building a successful therapeutic relationship.
