About Laura Morris
Hi, I’m Laura, a BACP accredited counsellor offering individuals and relationship counselling.
Is a difficult situation or someone getting you down?
My counselling service is designed to help individuals and couples with life changing challenges. Sometimes we have the confidence and clarity to make decisions and deal with disappointing or problematic situations. At other times often we are distracted by our busy lives or unexpected events occur which can create confusion and fear, impacting on our self-esteem. This can often cause depression and anxiety where we lose our focus and need help to move forwards.
Let me support you as we work towards you feeling happier, gaining confidence and changing your situation. We can also work together to explore and help you understand why you felt challenged, to reduce the impact and the chance of the same problems repeating themselves.
Clients say, being listened to in a confidential, warm, trusting environment and encouraged to challenge their thinking has really helped them.
Clients come to counselling, often termed talking therapy, for support with a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, bereavement, work/ relationship issues, redundancy and difficulties with infertility.
Couples Counselling
The couples and relationship counselling that I offer, focuses on helping couples struggling in relationship or separated, work colleagues or friends with discord etc. to communicate more effectively, by providing a safe space for them to share their thoughts and feelings. Through this, couples are more able to learn from one another and understand where their relationship breakdown has occurred.
The focus is then on supporting couples to work together towards moving forwards to the next stage of the relationship, with confidence.
I offer support for:-
Same gender partnerships
Heterosexual relationships
Married couples
Partnerships
Family issues
Sibling rivalry
Work colleagues conflicts
Best Wishes
Laura
