My training, work experience and any achievement
I am a qualified counsellor and counselling supervisor, and an accredited practitioner with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
My main qualifications are:
Post-graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling,
Scottish Institute of Human Relations (SIHR), 2002
Post-graduate Certificate in Psychodynamic Supevision,

Experience:
I currently work in my own private practice, providing counselling to individuals and supervision to trainee counsellors.

I enjoy my work as a counsellor, and I have remained enthusiastic and motivated to help and support people through their most difficult, stressful and uncertain times in their lives.
I myself, have sought counselling in the past, which I found to be invaluable, providing me with the space I needed to gain support and resolve my difficulties.
Counselling requires a commitment from both yourself and I, to work hard, to develop trust, meaning and safety between us, to enable you to gain support, understanding, and a resolution of your difficulties.
