About Sinead Mitchell
Sinead Mitchell runs a private practice in the heart of Fareham town. The mind, emotions and mental well-being are all closely linked to the physical well-being of an individual. Working with you as an individual or a couple, you will be treated uniquely and supported to embark on a new way forward in your life. Pulling you out of a long-ingrained slump or gently supporting you through trauma of loss, infidelity, guilty, empty nest syndrome to name but a few, Sinead will guide you through to see there is light at the other side of the challenges. There is always hope to change - remembering that the process of change can be an uncomfortable place to be - but so worth it, so don’t go it alone.
Sinead also works with school aged children and young people, helping them to tackle debilitating panic attacks and generalised anxiety. Through a combination of therapy and lifestyle changes, these positive changes can often be achieved within a relatively short space of time.
My training, work experience and any achievement
Having trained in Australia, I worked with children, young people and parents in the Australian equivalent of Childline (Kids Helpline, Parentline). Working through various modes of communication - online chat (skype equivalent), email and phone - allows young people (and adults) to communicate in their preferred way if face to face counselling doesn’t work for them.
Before moving to the UK, I ran a private practice where my client base extended to include couples. Further Information
It is a real privilege to support people to get their lives and/or relationships back on track. Small changes can effect significant change in your life.
