I am a qualified humanistic counsellor working in Chippenham. My aim is to provide you with a safe, confidential and comforting environment in which you can explore your own particular needs, hopes and wishes for the future.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and support their principles and guidelines.

I work in a person centred way and will listen to you without judgement and with empathy and compassion to help you explore your concerns and problems and support you as you find acceptance of the past and move forward in the future. I have experience of working with adults and young people including working with Counselling?Psychotherapy Students.

My training, work experience and any achievement

Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling
- Pass with Distinction

Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body;
- CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
- CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
- CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

I have also attended training in addictions. stress, depression, shame, co-dependency and eating disorders.
I presently work as an independent counsellor at an addictions agency in Bristol counselling clients with addictions and supporting the people around them. This work is extremely rewarding and I have worked with clients with very difficult and diverse problems.

Further Information

I also have experience in counselling clients who have needed support when coming to terms with difficult issues within their family, either complex family issues or separation from a partner and the effect this has on the family as a whole, and have helped them to gain an understanding of what is happening and how they can best deal with these difficult times and gain some perspective of their problems and help them find solutions and support.

I can also provide insight and support for clients working through their complex feeling around divorce or affairs and other betrayals from a loved one which can caused immense anxiety and heart ache.
