About Jacqueline Squibb
I work with a wide range of difficulties that people encounter in their lives, so I understand that individual clients needs differ. After an short assessment between clients and myself to discuss their goals, I offer counselling sessions (50mins) that can be solution focused brief therapy, or open ended, on a one to one basis. My counselling is essentially Integrative, which means I have incorporated skills and techniques from other therapies, such as Transactional Analysis, CBT and a Psychodynamic core. With children, I work from a Person Centred base, alongside play therapy, therapeutic stories and art.
I provide a safe, secure and confidential setting where personal issues, problems, thoughts and feelings can be explored, and I work with children from the age of 5 years right the way through to adults.
My training, work experience and any achievement

I am currently a school based Counsellor for BCCS, counselling both parents and the children. I have an up to date Enhanced CRB, and have also completed Level 2 on Safeguarding Children.
I am qualified to Level 5 Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling, with further training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Further Information
