About R N Associates
I am a practising certified counsellor. I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling, which then followed into a Masters in Neuro Linguistic in Programming. I am an Independent Relate Trained Couple Counsellor.
I consider my communication skills to be my core key strength. I recognise the importance of listening skills, non-judgemental attitudes, two-way interactions, in addition to developing a good rapport.
I also provided Video calling on either Skype or Mootu for therapy. On completing the therapy I made reports on the progress of the sessions for the firm, which were then provided for the Court proceedings.
I also have experience in interpreting in the counselling sessions as an Interpreter where the process has flowed in a triangle setting rather than the client and counsellor relationship. The Interpreting in the Counselling area is very different from the usual setting, i.e. to remember in big chunks as the client’s expresses emotions and feelings, and to relay all the expression and emotions to the counsellor without missing or forgetting any part (mimic). I feel I am able to do this part of Interpreting as first part of my qualifications and experience is in the counselling field and I am aware of the process and knowledge of the terminology. I have also assisted the psychologist’s in providing assessments for families in which the court proceedings have taken place.
