About Joanne demirkazik
I have been practising as a counsellor for the last 14 years. I am fully qualified and am an accredited member of the BACP. This means I have reached a substantial level of training and practice that awards me with being an accredited practitioner by my professional body. I have worked in many different settings such as, the NHS, education, occupationaI health and in private practice. Initially i trained in an integrative humanistic approach. I believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is of the utmost importance and unless this feels safe and trustworthy it is unlikely that counselling would be of any real benefit. I use different theories in which to work from, though I particularly enjoy using transactional analysis to help increase awareness in how we communicate with others and understand patterns we have developed in how we manage our lives.I offer a warm, friendly and non judgemental service. My room is a confidential and quiet space and there is plenty of free parking available.My training, work experience and any achievement
