About Hope Tree Counselling & Wellbeing
I offer bereavement & grief counselling to anyone in Lancashire & Merseyside. I see client’s in their own home or in a private therapy room. I am professional yet down to earth, non-judgemental and empathic. As well as seeing clients privately, I volunteer weekly for a large bereavement charity, and am also a member of their committee. I have had the honour of working with a diverse range of clients. I use the word honour, because when someone is able to talk to you about their inner most private thoughts and feelings, it is a real honour and privilege to be allowed into their frame of reference. It is something that I do not take for granted, and client confidentiality is a top priority. I am based in Lancashire, however, my work takes me to various locations around the north west. I’m 38, and have 2 children and 2 dogs. I have personal experience of bereavement and grief, from miscarriages, loss of family and friends, as well as the loss of my beloved animals over the years. I chose the name "Hope Tree" because I wanted a name that was relevant to my work. The word hope, is something I hear so often from clients, saying they feel hope again. And a tree represents the stability I am aiming to restore, as well as symbolising the flexibility and growth, associated with our own, continual personal development.
