About Sally Kean-Hammerson
I am a qualified acupuncturist in Traditional Chinese Medicine which treats a wide variety of conditions and Five Element acupuncture which treats constitutionally on a deeper level. I have been trained to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and to abide by a rigorous code of safe practice which is laid down by the acupuncturist’s professional body, The British Acupuncture Council. I also have a postgraduate diploma in Tui na massage and I am a member of the UK RTCM which guarantees both a high standard academic achievement and clinicalI strongly believe that, because each of us is completely individual, so too are the treatments I give to each of my patients. I treat holistically always addressing underlying causes as well as the specific problem my patients come to see me with.
Acupuncture for fertility is a special interest for me and I work with women (single or in a relationship), men or couples to maximise potential to conceive a healthy baby with or without assisted reproduction techniques (ART). Recognising the stresses and strains that accompany fertility, my treatments attempts to minimise anxiety, include dietary advice and flexibility with out of hour session times when required.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I studied acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, graduating with a first class degree in Acupuncture (BSc). I also have a diploma in chinese remedial massage known as Tui Na.CPD (continuing professional development) is a passion of mine and I regularly attend training courses to enhance my skills, and learn new ones so that I can provide the best possible care for my patients.

Sally has really helped me through my IVF process, she is lovely to talk too, I was a newbie at Acupuncture but just felt so at ease, able to ask lots of questions and Sally was happy to help give as much information back.
