About The Acupuncture Point

I have a thriving acupuncture practice in Manchester with many clients seeking relief from common health problems like migraines and IBS as well as long term and complex conditions involving pain and sleep disorders – for example, fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis. I have a special interest in women’s health and am experienced in working with women to help them manage and relieve the symptoms of PCOS, endometriosis, period problems and the menopause. In the last 12 months I’ve undertaken training on how acupuncture can support people experiencing fertility issues. My training, work experience and any achievement

Martine trained at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York where she studied intensively for three years and gained a postgraduate degree in Acupuncture. Her training included traditional acupuncture, Chinese medicine and western biomedical science, including anatomy, physiology and pathology. Always keen to further her professional development, Martine is writing her dissertation for a Master of Science (MSc) postgraduate degree in acupuncture. Martine is a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council and is a local authority registered licensed acupuncture practitioner.
